Headed down to Daytona Beach for the week to enjoy the sun and the Biketoberfest debauchery. Not a trip for the Sportster, at least not yet, so Sandy and I will be riding down on the Street Glide. Looking forward to the ride, the time with Sandy, and the festivities.

We typically make sure we get to at least one Jasmine Cain show. Looks like one show is all she has on the calendar right now, but usually a few more pop up prior to and during Biketoberfest. http://www.jasminecain.com/

Chopper Time Old School Chopper Show at Tropical Tattoo – Thursday, October 18, 2018 – A must see. From home built bikes, high dollar choppers, and everything in between. Really good stuff! Full Throttle Daytona Beach Boardwalk Bike Show – Friday, October 19, 2018 – This is usually a pretty decent show, just off Main Street, on the boardwalk, cool bikes of all types. Billy Lane’s Sons of Speed Vintage Motorcycle Race – New Smyrna Speedway – Friday, October 19, 2018 – Really looking forward to this – pre-1925 motorcycle racing! We have VIP tickets which means early admission and pit access. Think they have been putting this race on the last couple years but we have never been. Then there is all the usual stuff: Riding around Florida, the Iron Horse Saloon, Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley Davidson, the JP Cycles retail store, swap meets, the beach, Main Street, motorcycles everywhere, Charlie Horse wings, and whatever else we decide to get into.
